With P L's mastery in varied performing arts, it was only apt that the renderings of his one-act plays, talks, narrations, harmonium et al, be made available on audio/video cassettes. Alurkar Music House (Pune) took the lead and brought out several cassettes, including `Batatyachi Chal',`Asa Mee Asa Mee', 'Nivdak Pu La' (collection of P L's narrations of some of his own writings), and of course, his harmonium. It was Suresh Alurkar of this music house who first bestowed on him the popular title of `Maharashtrache Ladke Vyaktimatv' (Maharashtra's Favourite Personality),in the advertisements of the cassettes.
